I first saw dual monitors in action when my cousin Chris got them a few years ago. I’ve always thought the idea was brilliant, because It really makes working on the computer much easier and more efficient, whether you’re multitasking or not. Shortly after seeing his I asked if I could have them setup at my job at the time and it really increased my productivity. So needless to say it’s always been a goal of mine to have a dual monitor setup, but I’ve never been able to accomplish it the way I’ve really wanted it until now. I used to use dual monitors with my company laptop and my old Samsung 910T monitor, but it wasn’t perfect. I ended up selling that 910T to my roommate back in August and moving to the Samsung 205BW which was a wide screen. I’d been using that monitor at school since August with no problems, but it just wasn’t enough for me. So this past Christmas (2007) I decided to get myself another one (as you can see above).
It’s so much better having two, yes granted I have very limited desk space at school, but I could careless, I can get so much more done on these things. Take a Look at what my desktop looks like clean.
Now your probably wondering, “WHAT THE HELL CAN YOU POSSIBLY NEED THAT MUCH SPACE FOR?!” Well… The simple answer is this…

Overall it was well worth the investment. I find it difficult to get things done on systems that don’t have a dual monitor setup because I’m just so used to it.
